CAM recently participated in a project with the University of Iowa to certify steam flow meters for internal custody transfer. After surveying the installations of the current meters and adjusting the meter factors, the totals were still not matching correctly. An independant lab performed tests and more adjustments were made but, although the totals were closer to expected, they were not within the desired tolerances. CAM then suggested that a test cell be built to test a variety of meters for accuracy. CAM was instrumental in the design of the test cell as well as the test procedures.
